STX / WDC Physical Shipments

These are modeled physical shipment estimates. Media supply, supplier allocation, product mix and inventory use explicit assumptions. Confidence is low; the scenario ranges describe alternative assumptions and are not statistical confidence intervals.

Shipped units = good completions + opening finished stock − closing finished stock + eligible inflows − exclusions. Exabytes = product-level shipped units × TB per drive / 1,000,000. NTM sums the four quarters; average capacity is weighted by shipped units.
